Because the original size of this quilt won 2nd Place at the 2022 Illinois State Fair in Bed-Sized Machine Made Quilts, And because my visit to the state fair caused the person who drove me to get COVID-19, I set aside a portion of my own COVID quarantine to knock out the math and make this 1/4 the size of the original. A souvenir from the fair, if you will. certainly a better one than COVID…
The quilt itself only has 30 seams to match, the rest of the piecing relying on strips that build upon each other to outline wide swaths of color blocking. This quilt is about 3 foot by 4 foot in dimension and is perfect for a crib or lap quilt.
Please Note: I have not personally tested this pattern yet so it is in beta-release. I believe that the math is correct but please use with caution. I will take this note away when I have fully tested the pattern.
