The Prairie Window sweater is inspired by prairie style art glass windows, specifically the window work from the, Frank Lloyd Wright-designed, Dana-Thomas Home, near my hometown in Springfield, IL. The motif conjures the movement of sumac branches and the stillness of snow. This design boasts stranded color work, top-down sweater construction with a dropped underarm, folded collar, and angular sleeves. It’s fuzzy, warm, but breathable Lopi fabric will wear well through both equinoxes and winter.
